Duck Eggs

Duck Eggs

Acrylic paint on stones

My daughters gave me for Mother’s Day a garden ornament of a duck, so I thought this mother duck needed a family. By painting over smooth stones, the size and shapes of eggs, I magically created an unhatched egg, a newly hatched egg with a cute little duckling peeping out of it and a prized golden egg (even though in the Aesop’s Fable, it was actually laid by a goose!).

Art shouldn’t always be serious and sometimes it just about having fun.
